We spend years running from what our soul desires most, hanging ourselves up on a rod in the closet next to the sweater that’s worn so often it makes the other hung items jealous of its closeness to our skin.
We create situations based on convenience and soon find ourselves comfortable because it never challenges the desires lingering in the soul. It never forces us to set ourselves on fire.
We find ourselves content in a lachrymose purgatory until a conjuring of Shiva and Shakti ignite the eternal embers, which were once the reason our soul incarnated into this lifetime.
Just as Shakti was called to ignite Shiva, only once we accept the fire our soul so desires can we achieve the mystical wholeness within and finally shed our self-made prison of comfort that’s persuaded us to ignore the chemistry of connection.
